Miles for on-board duty-free purchases?
January 6th, 2009 by anonym
A number of airlines from smaller countries (with a single hub airport) grant miles on some items purchased at their hub, e.g. KL at AMS, KE in Seoul, etc.
As far as purchases on board, I recall:
- SN
- VS
- LX (until last month)
Any others? Do partner FFP's qualify?
500 bonus M&M miles for 125- 250,--
1.000 bonus M&M miles for 250,-- - 400,--
2.000 bonus M&M miles for 400,-- & up
sadly in their program its only worth half of a normal mile
so every hundred dollars in purchases gives you 50 miles
thats a long way to a free ticket
sigh!

Yes, and if you tell Singapore Airlines you want their catalog, they'll gladly mail you one to order from http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
It also gives Air Miles to members of that program at the rate of 1 Mile per £6 spend.
