Adding items in a drop-down menu.

  • Hi all,

I have created a 'drop-down" menu box from "Form" toolbar. Now I want to add some items e.g. "good", "better", "best" in that drop-down menu. My question is that, is it possible to have those items in that drop-down menu without writing those items in a sheet?

    thanks and regards,

  • why don't you want to write these items in some cells(ex on a worksheet that you will hide afterwards). you can also lock these cells up, thus avoiding that any1 will be able to modify them.

No there isn't, try using data, validation, list, then you can enter items in the list
    good,better,best
    then ok

then click on the cell and hit the down arrow to see your list
