    Actually the best approach when referring to a specific thread is to use the little red ! icon button in the left column for each post, below the poster's name. That will actually send the correct link to the Mods and let you add a message.

    I'll be doing that now about this thread. ;)

  • The OP's title in the LAN.com thread is both descriptive and accurate, so there is no need to change it.

    If anything, our goal is to make thread titles less cryptic and not more so, so that as many people as possible can understand and benefit from them.

    To reiterate an important point, the purpose of MR is to help people get the maximim benefit from fare finds. The PRESUMPTION should always be that the airlines are lurking this site, so that the focus should not be on subterfuge, but on SPEED. Be prepared to make a fast decision about these types of fare opportunities, so that you are not held hostage to airline shutting down or people calling the airline or the fare being sold out, etc.

    Its all about YOUR ALACRITY to take advantage of the fare, not to preserve the fare.
