Australia Airport questions

This is an aviation enthusiast question about airports down under.
I read the "Airways" magazine much and heard much about the airport tour on Brisbane. Is it a worthwhile trip? I will like to take the tour during August. Any other airports that offer similar tour... any good plane-spotting advice for airports in Australia/NZ.

For what it's worth, I did a tour in about 1987, even got up close and personal with an AF Concorde. But... I guess that was 14 years ago http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Re plane-spotting. Best place to get info on that is airliners.net. Just send an e-mail to some of the people who take good photos at Oz airports. One guy who takes great photos at SYD is Frank Schaefer. Use the following link to send him a message:
