Profiles (Watched / Unwatched)

  • I am having a small problem with the watched tag and profiles.

    Let me explain:

    I have 2 profiles;
    1) Master
    2) MyGF

    I generally use the Master and also use this to add the IMDB info for all my movies. (Nearly 400 now :grin:)

    I setup my girlfriend a profile so she couldnt change settings and mess up all my hard work.

    Problem is that when she watches a movie it marks it watched in my profile also. So i figured that must be becuase of the share media info tag in profiles. But when i switch it to not shared then i have to add all the movies for her profile also.

    How can I add the movies in master profile, but have the watched tag be per profile.

  • oh how i wish i was a proficient programmer..

    Anyone got any ideas or in need of this feature also.?

    At least I got it on the wishlist.

  • so every time i add a new movie, (averaging about 3 a day) I will need to copy the DB again to the profile.

    This will eliminate all her previous watched tags. That solution doesnt work.


  • uuuh. copy the database and thumbnails to your gf's profile?

    problem solved

    you obviously cannot have a single field of the database per profile............
