Trip Report syd-chc-auk-pap-lax in AirNZ

Firstly thankyou to all that gave advise before i travelled on the seating guide, it was appreciated. SO i though only fair to give my feedback.
To be honest i was extremely dissappointed with the business class seats on AirNZ. Flew from sydney to christchurch and seats were more like economy seats on emirates. The service on this would was pathetic. Steward was not friendly and seemed wanted to be elsewhere. Got the menu (only 4 people in bclass). Chap came round and i asked for the salmon only to be told "sorry you cant have that!" very abruptly..and being a little confused i asked why, to be told there was only 2salmon and the the other passengers were having it. To be honest fair enough but i would have thought a more polite answer would have been "sorry sir we only had 2 salmon but could i offer you something else?"
Auckland to Papeete to Los Angeles : again i was very disspointed with the seats very cramped and very uncomfortable..reminds of business class seats from the eighties with manual push buttons. However the service was better, food above average..but nothing special. Oh and checking in a papeete to LA the business class que moved at such a slow pace that the whole economy class checked in(and it was a massive que!) before half the Bclass was done...so we have to move over to the economy que!!
